Sealcoating & Crack Filling

Professional-grade protection for your driveway - applied with care, every single time.

The footage below was captured by one of our customers during the 2021 season - an unsolicited behind-the-scenes look at our crew working through a neighborhood Tar Party. We thought it said more than we ever could.

Our products:

We don't cut corners on materials. Every sealcoating job we complete uses premium, commercial-grade products - the same ones we've trusted for years because they consistently deliver results.

Deery Super Stretch Crack Filler An industrial-strength hot rubber crack filler applied at 400 degrees. It bonds deeply into the crack, flexes with seasonal freeze-thaw cycles, and creates a watertight seal that holds up over time

Pitch Black Asphalt Emulsion Sealant A high-performance sealcoating emulsion formulated for maximum adhesion, durability, and that deep, uniform black finish

Our Services:

Every driveway is different - and our crews treat it that way. We assess each job on arrival and take every step necessary to deliver a result we're proud to put our name on. Here's what our standard service includes:

  1. 1. Edge & Trim All sides of the asphalt surface are carefully edged to clear grass and weeds, ensuring the sealant reaches all the way to the edge of the driveway.

    2. Power Clean The entire surface is swept and power cleaned, then cleared of any remaining dust or debris with backpack blowers. A clean surface is essential for proper adhesion. If there is chalk on your driveway, please rinse it off thoroughly at least one day before your scheduled service - chalk residue can interfere with the sealant bonding properly.

    3. Crack Filling Using our 400-degree hot rubber filler, we seal the necessary cracks in the asphalt surface. This prevents water infiltration, stops existing cracks from widening, and reduces further asphalt erosion over time.

    4. Oil Spot Treatment Oil spots are treated with a specialized solution to ensure the sealcoat can properly adhere to the surface. Untreated oil spots can cause the sealant to flake or peel. Our crews are trained to evaluate each spot and apply treatment where it's needed.

    5. Sealcoat Application We start with a detailed hand brush around all concrete aprons, sidewalks, landscaping, and rock beds - keeping the sealant precisely where it belongs. Once the detail work is complete, crews apply the asphalt emulsion across the full surface using a wide broom in an overlapping pattern to ensure consistent, thorough coverage.

Not every driveway requires every step. Our crews evaluate each job at the time of service and apply exactly what the surface needs - no more, no less.

Why Sealcoating?

Sealcoating is one of the most cost-effective ways to protect and extend the life of your asphalt. Here's what it does:

Seals out water. Water is asphalt's biggest enemy. Once it penetrates the surface, it expands and contracts through freeze-thaw cycles - quietly breaking down the pavement from the inside out. Sealcoating closes those entry points before damage begins.

Stops erosion. Weather, traffic, and time gradually wear down the top layer of asphalt, exposing the surface to accelerated deterioration. The sealcoating emulsion reinforces and replenishes that surface layer, slowing the erosion process significantly.

Protects against gas and oil damage. Our sealant is formulated with sands, silicas, and rubberized compounds that provide a meaningful defense against fuel and fluid spills - far more resistant than bare asphalt.

Prevents oxidation. Fresh asphalt contains natural oils that give it flexibility and strength. UV exposure dries those oils out over time, causing the surface to harden, crack, and age prematurely. Regular sealcoating helps block those rays and preserve the asphalt beneath.

Simplifies maintenance. A sealed surface is smoother, easier to sweep, and sheds leaves and snow more efficiently. The deep black finish also absorbs heat from the sun, helping accelerate snowmelt and drying in the shoulder seasons.

Enhances curb appeal. There's a reason a freshly sealed driveway turns heads. It restores that rich, uniform black finish and gives your home's exterior a polished, well-maintained look.
